Job Description - Business Development Associate

Giotto.ai is a Switzerland-based AI company building portable intelligence systems for enterprises and governments across Switzerland and Europe.

Giotto develops next-generation reasoning models and AI infrastructure engineered for performance, efficiency, and deployment flexibility. Our systems are designed to run on the infrastructure of your choice, from on-premise GPUs to dedicated sovereign cloud environments.


About the Role


As a Business Development Associate, you will work closely with the founders to help grow customer base across Switzerland and Europe.


You will identify potential customers, build relationships with key stakeholders, support sales conversations, and help organizations understand how sovereign AI can create value for their business.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, is excited about AI, and wants to grow their commercial skills while helping build one of Europe's most ambitious AI companies.


What You'll Do



  • Identify and engage potential enterprise and public-sector customers

  • Build relationships with prospective customers and partners

  • Support outbound outreach and pipeline generation activities

  • Participate in customer meetings, product demonstrations, and discovery sessions

  • Help communicate Giotto.ai's value proposition to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Work closely with founders and engineering teams to understand customer needs and market opportunities

  • Track opportunities and maintain CRM records

  • Represent Giotto.ai at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities

  • Contribute ideas to improve commercial processes and customer acquisition efforts


What We're Looking For



  • 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, consulting, or customer-facing roles

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Comfortable engaging with both business and technical stakeholders

  • Interest in AI, emerging technologies, and enterprise software

  • Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-growing startup environment

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Fluency in English and German required

  • French is a plus


Nice to Have



  • Experience in SaaS, enterprise software, cloud, AI, cybersecurity, or related technology sectors

  • Exposure to enterprise or public-sector customers

  • Experience with outbound prospecting, lead generation, or account management

  • Previous startup or high-growth company experience
