- Develop and deploy vision and approved plan for his/her category as well as Responsible for category strategy development as to deliver maximum value - Define and lead (global) cross-functional sourcing teams and support throughout the steps and activities of the strategic sourcing process (SSM) - Support and/or manage (Large/medium) Capex projects - Develop and manage relationship with key suppliers and track their performance - Manage collaboration, knowledge sharing and proper communication within category by providing strategy and deep category expertise and ensure the use of standardized processes. - Manage relationship with internal stakeholder during SSM and/or projects You bring: - University degree in relevant expertise area (preferably in business administration, commerce, engineering, or other relevant discipline) or equal level developed by experience - In-depth knowledge of the Categories in terms of products, services, and contracts as well as of Indirect Spend in terms of business dynamics, markets, innovation requirements and growth opportunities - Fluency in German and English are required, other languages are a plus - Min. 8 years' experience in Indirect Purchasing with deep understanding and knowledge of global/region business needs - Relevant systems savvy / Multitasking (SAP/ARIBA) - Change Management, Demand Management and Negotiation Skills The application process: Interested in this position?
