YOUR CAPCO DAY 

• Develop and maintain conceptual data models that capture key entities, relationships, and data flows across various business domains—without diving into physical or technical implementation details.


• Collaborate with domain experts across banking functions (e.g., markets, risk, trading) to understand what data is produced, how it interrelates, and where critical information resides.


• Ensure identification, classification, and documentation of business-critical data in alignment with FINMA regulatory requirements.


• Contribute to building a centralized and structured overview of critical data assets, using tools like Collibra to support governance and compliance.


• Coordinate with stakeholders in preparation for the upcoming FINMA audit/review, ensuring traceability and completeness of data documentation.

YOUR CAPCO-FIT 

• Strong understanding of conceptual data modeling—able to capture high-level data landscapes, entities, and interrelationships across business areas (not focused on technical implementation or databases).


• Solid knowledge of banking processes and domains—experience in any business area (e.g., risk, markets, compliance) with an ability to interconnect domains conceptually.


• Familiarity with regulatory environments, particularly FINMA expectations for data classification, documentation, and governance.


• Experience using Collibra (or similar tools) for data cataloging, business glossaries, and metadata management.


• Fluent in German and English, with strong communication skills to align with business stakeholders and regulatory leads.
