We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and make a significant impact on the core applications at Coinmerce. As a Data Engineer, you’ll collaborate with various teams, including Trading Technology and Development, to design and develop advanced data solutions, optimize data pipelines, and build analytical dashboards.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data engineering solutions for Trading, Brokerage, Treasury, Finance, and Marketing projects.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise.

• Maintain and optimize data pipelines from trading/brokerage platforms to our data warehouse in Google BigQuery.

• Develop infrastructure for ETL processes from diverse data sources using SQL and big data technologies.

• Build analytical reporting dashboards using Google Looker and BigQuery.

• Participate in design sessions and collaborate on other Technology team activities.

What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience in a data engineering or data-centered development role.

• Experience building and/or maintaining a data warehouse based on BigQuery

• Strong programming skills in Python (experience with Go or Rust is also considered).

• Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and data analysis.

• Experience in generating data reports and visualizations using tools like Google Looker or Grafana.

• Knowledge of NoSQL, time-series databases, and data analysis techniques.

• Clear and concise communication skills to efficiently analyze and solve technical problems.
