Job Description - Director, Human Resources Business Partner
Partner strategically with senior leaders to design and execute robust people strategies that drive business objectives. Optimize team effectiveness and employee engagement using both quantitative and qualitative insights. Design organizational structures that enable efficient and effective global growth. Enhance leadership effectiveness by identifying top talent, supporting development opportunities, and ensuring strong succession plans. Develop and track KPIs, analyze talent data, and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions. Lead select regional or enterprise-wide HR initiatives (e.g., succession planning, performance management, learning & development). Drive HR strategy and execution across the cluster/country, ensuring alignment with business priorities. Serve as a trusted advisor on leadership, team effectiveness, change management, and organizational design. Manage annual HR processes, including compensation planning, performance management, talent planning, and workforce planning. Support talent development for employees and leaders across the region. Ensure robust onboarding for new leaders and managers. Act as an escalation point for business concerns and partner closely with HR colleagues and cross-functional teams (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Compliance, etc.) to deliver enterprise-wide programs. 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including strategic HR leadership roles. Proven experience in HR Centers of Excellence (e.g., Talent Management, Organizational Development). Experience scaling culture and driving organizational effectiveness in a network operating model. Strong collaboration skills with Global HRBPs and HR Centers of Excellence to deliver innovative HR programs. Demonstrated ability to coach leaders, advise on organizational design, and develop robust talent strategies. Strong track record of managing multiple projects independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Expertise in stakeholder management and influencing without authority. Ability to translate HR strategy into actionable initiatives with attention to detail and execution excellence. Experience analyzing talent data and applying insights to drive business decisions. Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred. Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
