E-Commerce Merchandising & Buying Support (Fixed-term Contract)

Reporting to the E-Commerce Senior Buyer & Merchandiser, the E-Commerce Merchandising & Buying Support will support the merchandising & buying process for Guess E-Commerce department.

He/she will assist the colleagues in product selection assortments for Guess website, driving assortment and SKU productivity to achieve the financial goals.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Buying & Allocation

• Assistance in the B2C Ecommerce selection for Website and Marketplaces
• Cooperation with Planning and Allocation teams to finalize the E-Comm. orders respecting the seasonal budget
• Cooperation with Planning and Allocation teams in order to ensure the inventory level depending on the seasonal budget
• Selection, insertion and maintenance in the merchandising planning system, within the insertion of purchase orders in AS400, of the designated product lines
• Tracking and follow up of production shipment (inbound and allocation activities for website)

Merchandising

• Cooperation with Web-Marketing Team to define the best product positioning strategies in PLP based on KPIs (BR, CTR, visits, etc.); and update of product sorting
• Cooperation of go-live activity with reference to both technical and emotional product descriptions along with stock arrival in an Omnichannel prospective
• Support in Ecommerce Markdown price list creation matching Retail Markdown list and Ecommerce only products
• Support in promo setting and maintenance
• Follow up to Customer service enquiries relevant to product information and availability
• Follow up to general enquiries from divisions and suppliers

Analytics

• Tracking and updating of production shipment (inbound and allocation activities for website)
• Cooperation on stock maintenance and optimization
• Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly and ad hoc Sales and Stock analysis
• Pre seasonal and in seasonal product/buy presentation
• Best and Worst sellers weekly reports
• ST% and sales performances ad hoc reports

• Marketing or Economics degree is considered a plus
• Knowledge in SFCC merchandising is considered a plus
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
• Office package knowledge, well skilled in Excel
• Good data understanding and knowledge
• Proficient knowledge of English language – both written and spoken. Any additional language is a plus
