Your role
As a Facility Engineer Mechanical, you will provide engineering support for monitoring, planned servicing and corrective maintenance on a range of critical data center infrastructure and associated equipment. You will manage routine plant inspections, act as a first-line response and ensure that all work is done in line with relevant regulations and our own processes and procedures. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance as well improvement projects. Act to maximize uptime/SLA (Service Level Agreement) and improve PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness).
Within this role, you will act as a hub between internal and external stakeholders such as customer service, facility management, security, third party suppliers and our customers.

- Capable to work under limited supervision, both independently and within the team environment
- Demonstrated proactiveness and initiative. Able to understand root cause of the issues and act proactively to prevent it to happened in the future.
- Self-organized, solution-oriented and a strong sense of urgency while keeping an eye for detail.
- Proven knowledge in operating, maintaining, and repairing of HVAC, air handling units (AHU), computer room air conditioning (CRAC), and building monitoring/controlling systems (BMS) is a strong asset.
- Technical writing skills. Able to create and update or modify Standard/Emergency Operating procedures and Methods of Procedures (SOP / EOP / MOP)
- Creative thinking and excellent problem-solving skills
- Good project management skills and the ability to learn on the work.
- Capability to assemble the bigger picture based on various sources of information.
- 3 years’ work experience in a data center or similar environment
- Computer skills: basic knowledge of Microsoft office tolls is a must.
- Willing to act as an on-call engineer (Pikett engineer) every ~2 Months.
- Excellent and effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Fluency in English, both written and oral, and local language as a big advantage.
