We are looking for a Florist to join our iconic Mandarin Oriental Palace, Lucerne!

The legendary Hotel Palace Luzern first opened in 1906 andis inthe city on the shores of Lake Lucerne. After a complete renovation, the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern reopened its doors in September 2022. It comprises136 rooms and suites offering excellent views over the lake and mountains. Four restaurants, onebar together with a variety of meeting facilities, a Spa and a fitness room roundup our offer for our Guests. 

As Florist you will be responsible for the following tasks: 

• Daily preparation and control of our FANtastic flower arrangements
• Purchasing and ordering all flowers, plants and decorations
• Responsible for decorations & flower arrangements in our restaurants as well as in the public areas and hotel rooms 
• Supplying our banqueting department with flowers, bouquets and arrangements 
• Taking on special decorations for various occasions (Christmas, New Year's Eve, etc.)
• Close cooperation with all relevant departments

As florist we are looking for: 

• Vocational training in floristry
• First experience in a similar position in the upscale hotel industry is an advantage
• Openness and team spirit 
• Professionalism and expertise in advising guests at events and special occasions 
• Creativity in designing unique flower arrangements and decorations
• High quality awareness, excellent manners and well-groomed appearance, as well as a positive charisma
• High language proficiency in German and English. Other foreign languages are advantageous.
