Full-Stack Software Engineer (80-100%)

We are a ConTech SaaS startup that is rethinking cost-related processes in the construction industry. Our application helps SME construction companies unlock essential productivity gains through an end-to-end cost estimation process.

We’re looking for a skilled full-stack software engineer to design, develop, and maintain a scalable mobile and web application. You’ll be responsible for both frontend and backend systems, collaborating in close collaboration with the UI/UX, testing and revenue team to deliver easy-to-use and user-friendly new functionality.

Tasks

• Co-Architect & Scale — Act as the technical sparring partner to the CTO. You won’t just execute tasks; you will actively debate, design, and make shared decisions on how to evolve the architecture of a live platform serving 200+ growing customers.
• Accelerate Feature Delivery — Help us scale up our shipping velocity. You’ll build and deploy across the entire stack to deliver robust new features to our active user base.
• Operational Ownership — Gain deep, end-to-end knowledge of the codebase to become a trusted second-in-command. You’ll be fully equipped to troubleshoot live issues, ensure high availability, and keep the engine running smoothly on your own.
• Fortify the Foundation — As we scale, you will help upgrade our engineering practices - improving CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code quality to ensure we build fast without breaking things.
• Bridge Tech and Business — Collaborate directly with our revenue and product teams to translate customer feedback into scalable technical solutions that drive the next phase of our company's growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer.
• Solid CS Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fi eld (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strongly Typed Language Expertise: Strong profi ciency in object-oriented programming. We use C#, but a deep foundation in Java, Go, C++, or Rust is perfectly fi ne if you are eager to learn.
• Real-World Team Git Experience: You know how to collaborate in a shared repository. Branching, pushing, pulling, creating PRs, and resolving the occasional merge confl ict shouldn't scare you.
• DevOps Mentality: You value effi cient engineering workfl ows. You are comfortable working with CI pipelines and are excited to help us design and implement our continuous delivery (CD) practices and expand our automated testing.
• Language: Fluent in English.
• Startup Mindset: Proactive, independent, and comfortable navigating ambiguity. You don't just wait for tickets to be assigned; you see problems and propose solutions.

Nice to Have:

• Fluent in German.
• In-depth experience with C#.
• Experience with Typescript/Unity/Flutter.
• Experience with Firebase.
