Global Logistics Flow Coordinator


Location: Geneva, Switzerland

As a Global Logistics Flow Coordinator, you will operate at the intersection of trading, freight and supply chain, helping to translate trading strategies into efficient, real‑world ocean flows. This role offers broad exposure to global logistics, commercial decision‑making and international stakeholder collaboration.


 



 


Your role


You will support the planning, coordination and execution of ocean flows across commodities such as beans, meals and oils. Working closely with logistics managers, traders and operational teams around the globe, you will help ensure smooth and optimized port‑to‑port execution.


 


 


Supply Chain & Logistics Optimization



  • Contribute to Value Chain Supply Chain cost optimization & trading book value maximization

  • Translate trading strategies into efficient supply chain plans

  • Lead the planning and coordination of port‑to‑port ocean shipments, ensuring internal & external contractual commitments

  • Build a strong understanding of how trading, freight and supply chains interact across the value chain


 


Monitor seaflow shipments & cope with ongoing changes



  • Track vessel movements, port activity and logistics plan fulfilment

  • Adjust plans across time zones as situations evolve

  • Support the handling of disruptions, delays and operational changes in real time

  • Manage with loading / discharge plan, vessel’s speed & itinerary in close coordination with operational and industrial teams


 


Analysis, coordination & reporting



  • Prepare analyses, summaries and presentations to support decision‑making

  • Lead cross‑commodity planning and coordination

  • Work with logistics systems and data to ensure accurate shipment execution

  • Contribute to reviews of logistics performance and execution risks


 


You will work in a global, time‑zone‑driven environment, where priorities can change quickly and adaptability is key.

What we’re looking for


 


Background & Experience



  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in Engineering (industrial, mechanical, operations, statistics or similar), Economics, or another analytical discipline

  • Relevant experience or educational exposure to agribusiness, trading or logistics (gained through studies, internships or professional experience)

  • Exposure to commodity trading, freight or trade operations is a plus


 


Skills & Capabilities



  • Strong interest in global trade, logistics and supply chainmanagement

  • Understanding of commodity trading, freight & logistics

  • Familiarity with market or execution risk concepts

  • Strong Excel skills; experience with BI or visualization tools is an advantage

  • Ability to work with data to support operational and commercial decisions

  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑responsibility environment

  • Confident decision‑maker with strong attention to detail


 


 


Languages



  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

  • Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
