Global Store Design Manager - Luxury Retail

Luxury Experts is partnering with a prestigious Swiss luxury Maison to recruit a Store Design lead who will play a key role in shaping and elevating the brand's retail presence worldwide.

As Store Design Manager, you will lead the development and execution of boutique, pop-up, and retail design projects across international markets, ensuring every customer touchpoint reflects the brand's identity and uncompromising standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive the Global Retail Vision

• Develop and evolve the brand's retail design concepts across all retail formats.
  


• Ensure a consistent and elevated brand experience across boutiques, shop-in-shops, corners, and temporary retail spaces.
  


• Translate brand values into inspiring and commercially effective retail environments.
  

Lead International Retail Projects

• Manage new boutique openings, renovations, relocations, and pop-up activations worldwide.
  


• Coordinate external architects, designers, suppliers, and contractors throughout project lifecycles.
  


• Oversee project timelines, budgets, quality standards, and successful delivery.
  

Partner with Global Stakeholders

• Collaborate closely with regional teams, brand stakeholders, and retail partners across multiple markets.
  


• Provide expertise on store layouts, design adaptations, furniture selection, and customer journey optimisation.
  


• Ensure local requirements are successfully integrated without compromising global brand consistency.
  

Enhance Retail Experience & Visual Identity

• Develop and maintain retail design standards, furniture collections, and fixture specifications.
  


• Ensure materials, finishes, lighting, and architectural details support an exceptional luxury experience.
  


• Continuously identify opportunities to elevate retail environments and customer engagement.
  

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a Retail Designer.
  


• Foster collaboration, creativity, and operational excellence within the team.
  

PROFILE

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Retail Design, or a closely related discipline.
  


• 8-12 years of experience managing retail design projects within luxury retail, premium brands, hospitality, jewellery or watchmaking.
  


• Strong project management capabilities with experience delivering multiple international projects simultaneously.
  


• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  


• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
  


• Fluency in both English and French.
  


• A strong appreciation for luxury craftsmanship, design excellence, and brand storytelling.
