Group Controller & Treasury Manager

Location: Basel, Switzerland
On-site: Monday to Friday

About the Role

We are looking for a Group Controller & Treasury Manager to lead our Finance operations and ensure the smooth running of all controlling and treasury activities at group level. This is a key, hands-on leadership role that combines financial control, cash management, and business partnering.The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and business-minded finance professional with strong treasury knowledge and proven experience managing a small finance team in an international retail environment.

Your Responsibilities

·       - Oversee all financial controlling activities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.

·       - Lead treasury operations, ensuring effective cash flow management, liquidity planning, and bank relationships.

·       - Prepare consolidated group financial statements and monthly reporting packages.

·       - Monitor KPIs and support management with data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions.

·       - Manage and coach a small team within the finance department.

·       - Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

·       - Develop and maintain internal controls and financial processes to safeguard company assets.

·       - Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.

·       - Contribute to strategic planning by providing actionable financial analysis and business recommendations.

Your Profile

·       - Proven experience in controlling and treasury within an international company (ideally retail or fashion).

·       - Strong understanding of financial reporting, liquidity management, and forecasting.

·       - Excellent command of accounting principles (Swiss GAAP / IFRS a plus).

·       - Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach.

·       - Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills.

·       - Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented.

·       - Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP)

·       - Fluent in English (German or French a plus).
