Head of Hedge -Funds Strategies

Our client is a Tier1 financial services company delivering top-tier financial portfolio management services across all-asset classes.

Your mission and contribution

They are looking for their new Head of Hedge-funds strategies to strengthen their Hedge Funds investment division.

Reporting to the company CIO, you will drive the performance of the hedge-funds’ portfolios in accordance to the company’s global investment strategy to which you will participate as an active Investment Committee member.

Together with your team of experienced hedge-fund analysts and portfolio managers, you will build a global and cross-asset allocation originating and selecting high performing and promising hedge-fund managers.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or in related field with further degree or professional qualification (CAIA or CFA)
  


• Longstanding experience (15 years +) and successful track record in building and running performing hedge-funds’ portfolios
  


• All-round experience in the Hedge Funds universe, from portfolio construction to strategy allocation throughout origination and managers selection
  


• Strong analytical mindset, result-oriented approach and problem-solving skills
  


• Good knowledge of the financial regulations, FINMA requirements and compliance standards relevant to portfolio management
  


• Excellent people management skills, with experience in leading and developing a team
  


• Strong network of hedge-fund managers in both US and Europe
  


• Well-rounded and hands on investment professional, with the ability to develop and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting excellence and continuous improvement
  


• Intellectual curiosity and openness
  


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent presentation skills
  


• Fluent English and intermediate French
