YOUR ROLE 


We are seeking a highly capable HR Generalist who is keen to tackle a wide range of tasks to make a significant impact on our HR processes and overall organizational efficiency during a 10-month maternity leave cover, starting mid-October 2026. 




In this role, you will maintain accurate employee records, ensure compliance with Swiss labor law and company policies, recruit talent for our rapidly growing organization, and promote effective communication within the team. Your attention to detail, familiarity with HR functions, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion will be essential. You will also play an important role in shaping our HR operations to support our dynamic work environment at UNISERS. 




RESPONSIBILITIES & TASK 


Human Resources 



  • Maintain personnel records, HR documentation, and BambooHR data 



  • Gather payroll data and process payroll using Abacus 



  • Publish job ads and coordinate the recruiting and hiring process, partnering closely with hiring managers 



  • Respond to employee and candidate questions about policies, benefits, and processes 



  • Assist managers with employee-related issues and provide guidance on employee relations, performance, workplace behavior, and other people matters 



  • Own onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring timely completion of activities by employees, managers, and external partners 



  • Manage employee absences and sickness reporting, including administration of sick notes and coordination with insurance providers 



  • Prepare employment-related documentation, including reference letters and employment confirmations 


  


Office Management 



  • Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure a productive and organized work environment 



  • Serve as the primary contact for workplace suppliers, including IT, cleaning services, and maintenance personnel 



  • Coordinate workplace activities and employee events, including team events, employee milestones, and recognition initiatives 




YOUR PROFILE 



  • HR Fachperson or equivalent qualification, with a strong understanding of Swiss labor law 



  • Sufficient experience in an HR generalist role to work independently, take ownership, prioritize effectively, and operate confidently as the sole HR member of a 35-50 person team in a dynamic, fast-growing environment with evolving priorities 



  • Proficiency in Abacus for payroll processing ; experience with BambooHR is a plus 



  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 



  • Fluent in English (German is a plus)
