Job Description - HR Operations Officer (9 months)


For our client, a leading international private bank, we are seeking a :

 

HR Operations Officer (9 months)

 

 

Responsibilities



  • Perform HR Operations tasks : background screenings, onboarding, issuing work certificates, tracking of documents and absences, eMails, checking employee data, settling of invoices from vendors in adherence with deadlines, etc.

  • Acts as a liaison between different HR teams and also HR and employees in the organization; this would be a particular interface function for numerous tasks and processes

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation according to bank policies and procedures

  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees related to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate HR colleagues or management

  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records using Workday and other HR tools

  • May assist with payroll functions

  • Conducts or assists with new hire management and onboarding

  • Assists with planning and execution of special aspects such as benefits changes, vendor management / procurement, organization of meetings

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  

Profile



  • HR process experience (HR Operations/Administration/Payroll function)

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

  • Appropriate business education or Swiss HR Certification

  • Strong communication skills

  • Numerate and methodical with good attention to detail and accuracy

  • Collaborative team approach

  • Personable demeanour with ability to build good relationships and rapport

  • Honesty, integrity and financial soundness

  • Ability to multi‐task and manage a flexible workload

  • Good knowledge of the Swiss regulations and practices

  • Fluent English, as well as French
