Cisco, Router, Netzwerktechnik, CCNP, Netzwerkarchitektur, BGP, Cloud Computing, CCNA, Konfiguration, IT, TCP/IP, VPN, Rechenzentrum, OSPF, VLAN, Netzwerkprotokolle, Switches, Implementierung, Informatik Senior Network Engineer (m/f/d) Full-time / Nuremberg / permanent What you can expect You will lead the design, implementation and maintenance of complex network architectures using Cisco technologies You will be responsible for the configuration, optimization and troubleshooting of routers, switches and other network devices You advise and support the integration of network technologies in cloud and hybrid environments As a Senior Network Engineer, you will work closely with other departments to understand and implement network requirements. You will perform comprehensive network analysis and testing to identify performance issues and security gaps You will also plan and carry out network expansions and upgrades, taking into account high availability and scalability. With your expert knowledge, you will continuously develop our data center network with regard to automation and ensure a fail-safe and efficient system landscape. What sets you apart You have completed vocational training or a degree in the field of computer science or information technology and have strong IT expertise. Ideally, you have several years of professional experience in network engineering and administration. You have an in-depth understanding of network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs. Basic knowledge of Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) from CISCO or comparable software-defined networking products is an advantage.
