IT Procurement Manager (Fluent German Required) 

Our large client is looking for an experienced IT Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives across IT categories — including SaaS, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Hardware.

THE ROLE

• Support the development and execution of IT category-specific procurement strategies.

• Conduct supplier market analysis and benchmarking.

• Lead end-to-end sourcing projects, from RFI to contract signature.

• Negotiate supplier contracts and manage ongoing relationships.

• Identify and implement cost-saving and value-creation opportunities.

• Monitor supplier performance and ensure contract compliance.

• Align procurement practices with internal policies and risk controls.

• Analyze procurement data for insights and demand planning.

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across IT and Finance.

Requirements

YOUR PROFILE

Education & Certifications

• Degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or similar field.

• Procurement certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are a strong plus.

Experience

• Proven track record managing IT procurement or strategic sourcing projects.

• Experience with IT supplier negotiation and vendor management.

• Familiarity with cloud-based services and licensing models (e.g., SaaS, IaaS).

Skills

• Fluent in German and English (must-have).

• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficient with procurement tools (such as SAP, Oracle) and data analysis (Excel, Power BI).

• Able to manage multiple sourcing initiatives in parallel with strong attention to detail.
