Junior Area Manager Jewellery (Fixed-term Contract)

The Junior Area Manager Jewellery is responsible for supporting the existing distribution in the Guess Jewellery business within the designated areas. The role will help the Sales team ensure consistent and profitable growth in sales, through positive planning and active management of the client.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with the Sales team to reach the sales goals on a monthly basis, achieving the target of the seasonal selling campaign and ensuring in-season reorders
• Monitor constantly the commercial KPIs (cancellations, reorders, contributions) and intervene in case of sales drops
• Support the Sales Team in data analysis, sales forecasting and order planning

ACTIVITIES

Sales

• Analyze sales data for the preparation of the seasonal budget
• Analyze the seasonal sell-through with consequent replenishment programs
• Respect deadlines for orders transmissions
• Train, motivate and drive the Agents and Distributors in order to ensure the achievement of the commercial goals

Forecasting and order planning

• Update sales figures and monitor the seasonal target constantly
• Forecast sales trend and closing estimates for the season
• Analyse sell out and plan reorders for the direct markets

Clients monitoring

• Monitor the execution of the clients for what concerns marketing, merchandising presentation and channel development
• Implement monobrand shop-in-shop and corners
• Promote and follow up in store customization in direct countries
• Ensure that Trade Marketing activities will be correctly executed during the sales campaign, in accordance with Guidelines and Policies and interact with Operations Jewellery for the development and production of all the materials needed

Interacting with other Guess departments

• Coordinate with marketing and VM teams

• Experience: 2-3 years’ experience in international sales (in fashion or luxury is preferrable)
• Education: University Degree
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English is mandatory. Any other European language is considered as a plus
• PC Skills: expert in Excel, experience in using planning and analytical systems
• Team player, dynamic personality, fast thinker, positive attitude and sense of urgency
• Desire to work in a fast paced organization with the will to grow in responsibility in the role
• Availability to travel
