Job Description - Junior CIO Office Manager (hybrid - m/f/x/d - 80-100%)

About the Role

You will work in a fast-paced and high-performing environment, directly supporting the Group Chief Investment Officer (CIO) with ongoing business as well as strategic projects and initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Group CIO with regular and ad hoc business matters, including preparing presentation and briefing materials, for example Asset Management (AM) Townhalls, committee meetings, external presentations, etc.
  • Contribute to AM's strategic projects and initiatives, shape and drive themes which improve the functioning of the AM department more broadly
  • Handle and coordinate ad-hoc activities and analyses
  • Team up with AM's HR and Communications partners on key deliveries


About the Team

The CIO Office is part of the CIO Office & Projects team who supports the Group CIO on ongoing business activities as well as oversees AM's strategic projects and initiatives. In our team you will be, in close collaboration with the CIO Office Manager, managing all aspects of the CIO Office, providing regular and direct support for the Group CIO. Through various activities and projects, you will stay in close contact with key AM and non-AM colleagues, notably the Asset Management Leadership Team, members of AM's investment teams, and our key partners across the company in HR, Communications, etc.

About You

You are an excellent teammate with creativity and drive who is eager to broaden their knowledge of Swiss Re Asset Management activities. Thanks to your strong interpersonal (EQ) as well as excellent communication skills, you work expertly across hierarchies, building relationship and trust. Managing different stakeholders and bringing them together makes you thrive.

Your key knowledge and experience:

  • University degree or equivalent in Finance or similar
  • 4-5 years professional experience (in similar positions, supporting senior executives, is highly desirable)
  • Sound understanding of financial markets and asset management
  • Excellent presentation skills (ability to creat high-quality presentations)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
