Junior Off-Car Systems Support Engineer

Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.  
 
 Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.  
 
The new team has three locations. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Sauber Motorsport Technical Center, UK will be operational this year. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

 This position for the Audi F1 Project is at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).

• Play a role in the operation and development of real-time telemetry, data analysis, and storage systems, ensuring the smooth flow of critical data

• Optimize system performance and reliability through rigorous testing, debugging, and performance analysis to maintain system integrity under race conditions

• Support developers and end users by developing and maintaining systems management tools, ensuring smooth operations across all team members

• Assist with other systems-related performance analysis tools and applications, providing insights and support to enhance data-driven decision-making

• Provide on-the-ground support during races and tests from the Operations Room, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving faults in real time to ensure seamless team performance

• Document system designs, specifications, and operational procedures to ensure clear and efficient knowledge transfer and system management for future use
