Job Description - Key Account Manager Specialty Care (Launch Focus), (BS, BE & Central Switzerland), (m/f/d)


The position



We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Key Account Manager to join our specialty care team. In this role, you will drive strategic engagement with key stakeholders, advance business development initiatives, and ensure strong readiness for future launches. You will leverage your deep product and market knowledge to generate meaningful insights and translate them into strategic actions. Working cross‑functionally, you will collaborate closely with internal and external partners to shape the environment, optimize patient access, and deliver sustainable value for customers and the organization.




Tasks & responsibilities 





  • Build and maintain trusted partnerships with key decision-makers in relevant Accounts (Relevant hospitals, group practices, specialist centers and others)

  • Act as a subject matter expert for the portfolio and the disease areas

  • Conduct deep analysis of patient pathways to identify unmet needs, systemic drivers, and barriers to care.  

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive account plans for assigned region, ensuring all activities are aligned with the therapeutic area’s objectives and deliver measurable value for patients, the healthcare system while leveraging adoption of our portfolio.  

  • Leverage digital tools (CRM/Salesforce, Office applications) for account planning, stakeholder engagement, and performance tracking. 





Requirements 





  • Proven experience in Specialty care (RHUM, PUL, IMMU preferred).

  • Demonstrated success in strategic account management and stakeholder engagement.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.

  • Fluent in English and the respective regional language, Italian is a plus.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within Switzerland as this is a field-based role
