As part of our continued international growth across Switzerland, Malaysia and France, we are strengthening our Legal and Corporate Governance function.
We are looking for a junior legal professional to support contract management, corporate governance and compliance processes across several group entities.
Working closely across functions, the role offers hands-on exposure to commercial contracts, corporate governance and cross-border legal matters within an international company active in the
energy and infrastructure sectors.
This position offers a strong learning environment with progressive responsibility and exposure to multi-jurisdiction legal work.
Key Responsibilities
Contract & Legal Management
Draft, review and support the negotiation of consultancy, contractor and subcontractor agreements
Assist with consultancy and project-related agreements in the energy and infrastructure sectors
Identify potential contractual risks and escalate complex matters where appropriate
Support contract lifecycle management, including documentation and compliance tracking
Coordinate with external legal advisors when required
Support the legal review of tender documentation and commercial proposals
Assist in preparing contractual sections of bids in coordination with operational teams
Corporate Governance
Support corporate documentation across group entities
Assist in preparing board resolutions and governance documentation
Coordinate statutory filings and corporate documentation where required
Maintain corporate registers and legal document repositories
Legal Operations & Process Improvement
Support the implementation and maintenance of legal and contract management tools
Maintain contract approval workflows in line with internal governance processes
Contribute to improving legal documentation management and governance procedures
Compliance & Policy Support
Maintain and update governance and compliance documentation
Support ISO and ESG documentation processes
Track compliance deadlines and regulatory obligations
Assist with insurance documentation coordination
Profile
Bachelor’s degree in law (Swiss or EU qualification preferred); candidates holding a Master’s degree with initial professional experience are also welcome
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
Strong drafting and analytical skills in French and English
Experience reviewing English-language commercial agreements is an asset
Knowledge of Swiss corporate or contract law is a plus
Exposure to international or cross-border matters is an advantage
Structured, detail-oriented and business-minded approach
