Legal Director – Join Kanadevia Inova’s Renewable Gas Revolution!

Kanadevia Inova (KVI) is transforming the renewable gas sector through innovative Asset Management. We are seeking a Legal Director to lead the legal strategy for our asset portfolio, ensuring seamless project execution and regulatory compliance.

In this role, you will:

• Provide legal advice to the executive team on various Asset Management operations and projects.

• Offer legal support across all stages of investment-led and engineering-led projects, from development to handover.

• Assist in structuring joint ventures, drafting and negotiating key project agreements, and advising on regulatory matters.

• Work with Asset Management teams to ensure legal compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with project goals.

• Manage disputes, liaise with external counsel, and implement legal policies to protect KVI’s interests.

•  Law degree (JD, LLB or equivalent). Admission to practice in the UK or a EU jurisdiction a plus
• 8+ years PQE, with significant in-house or top-tier law firm experience in plant projects delivery, operation and management (waste to energy, power, oil & gas infrastructure, or utilities)
• Proven ability to manage complex investment transactions and legal risk in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in business English, working level knowledge of German or other languages a plus
• Other: Proven expertise in drafting high-quality legal documents, strong leadership and negotiation skills, deep understanding of regulatory regimes and multi-jurisdictional infrastructure investments, with a solutions-oriented, assertive, and detail-focused approach
