Live-out Nanny-Housekeeper with Cooking Skills - Vésenaz, Geneva

A warm and welcoming family in Vésenaz, Geneva, is looking for a dedicated Live-out Nanny-Housekeeper / Family Assistant to support their household and become an integral part of their daily life. This is a long-term role for someone proactive, discreet, and enjoys supporting busy families with both childcare and household responsibilities.

Location: Vésenaz, Geneva

Start Date: As soon as possible

Children ages: A girl aged 6 and a boy aged 12

Start date: September 2025

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, from 10:30 or 11:00 am until 7:00 or 8:00 pm
• Occasionally early start at 6:30 am when parents are working or travelling
• Flexibility required

Duties Include:

• Providing after-school care for two children
• General housekeeping: cleaning, laundry, ironing, tidying common areas and children’s rooms
• Cooking healthy family meals (lunch and/or dinner)
• Helping with school bags, homework supervision, and activity coordination
• Running errands and assisting with household organization
• Pet care: dog-sitting for the family’s small Cocker Spaniel, one weekend per month
• Occasional travel with the family, particularly during July and August (France, Spain)

The Ideal Candidate:
You are someone who genuinely enjoys being around children, can manage a household with confidence, and wants to become part of the family’s support system. You are flexible, kind, and reliable, with a good sense of boundaries and the ability to pitch in wherever needed.

• EU/Swiss passport or Swiss permit
• Experience working in the same role for at least 3-5 years.
• Letters of reference or job certificates that we can validate
• Fluent in English (French is a bonus)
• Experience with school-age children and managing a household
• Strong cooking skills
• Pet friendly and comfortable caring for a dog
• Warm, patient, and discreet personality
• Willingness to travel during summer holidays
• Flexible to help with extra babysitting/ overnights when both parents travel
• Able to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to family routines
• Must be based locally – this is a live-out position

Long-term contract

Salary offer: 5'000-5'300 gross per month (12 payments)
