Maternity Nurse 24h/5 - Vaud, Switzerland Live-in Position

A warm and welcoming family based in the Lausanne area is looking for a professional and experienced Maternity Nurse to provide support during the first months with their newborn.

Position Details
Schedule: 24 hours per day, 5 days per week
Duration: Approximately 3 months
Accommodation: Provided

Responsibilities

• Provide full maternity and postnatal care for the newborn
• Establish and maintain feeding and sleeping routines
• Guide and support the parents in all aspects of newborn care
• Ensure the baby’s comfort, hygiene, and safety at all times
• Manage nursery-related duties (bottle sterilising, baby laundry, etc.)
• Offer advice and reassurance while respecting the family’s parenting preferences

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Maternity Nurse or Newborn Care Specialist
• Proven track record of newborn and postnatal care experience and checkable references
• EU passport or valid Swiss work permit
• Professional, discreet, and adaptable personality
• Excellent knowledge of newborn routines, sleep patterns, and feeding support
• Fluent in English
