Mechanical designer - F/M/X

Job description

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our team in the canton of Lucerne, Switzerland.

In this role, you will be instrumental in the design and development of avionics systems and conceptual parts.

Your responsibilities :

• Utilize your expertise in design engineering to develop innovative solutions for avionics systems.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure designs meet certification requirements and airworthiness standards.
• Create detailed CAD drawings using CATIA V5, with a focus on pragmaticity and accessibility.
• Ensure the practicality of designs by considering factors such as accessibility, fastener selection, and hardware relations.
• Review and interpret technical drawings to inform the design process and ensure accuracy.

Your profile :

• You have a good knowledge of German and English , both written and spoken.
• You have + 3-4 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
• You have technical expertise in aviation and avionics systems, with a strong understanding of certification processes and airworthiness reports.
• You are able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have :

• Experience in the use of CATIA V5.
• Background in ground supporting equipment design .
