Middle Office Analyst - Temporary Position (3-Year Contract), M/F/D

Job Purpose and Impact

The Middle Office Analyst optimizes and implements moderately complex financial operations and services activities, including accurate Daily Position & P&L reporting, profitability and month-end reporting, financial analysis, data management and visualization, while ensuring compliance with all regulations and internal control standards. With limited supervision, this job collaborates with internal and external business partners across various teams and locations on moderately complex business operations, provides resolutions, responds to ad hoc-management requests, identifies process improvements, and drives continuous improvement.

Key Accountabilities

• OPERATIONS & COMPLIANCE: Performs moderately complex operational activities including daily position reporting and analysis for trading desks, trade confirmations, settlements, reconciliations, daily and monthly MTM valuation processes, pricing and valuation of physical contracts using derivative markets and financial instruments, and all trade life cycle events, ensuring internal and external completion times and dates are met while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and internal control standards.


• CUSTOMER SUPPORT: Acts as a key liaison with traders, external business partners and other internal and external counterparties to handle operational tasks, provide timely responses and collaborate to resolve operational issues.


• SYSTEMS & PROCESSES: Monitors and runs system processes, control reports, system feeds, reference and static data, error analysis and remediation action.


• DATA MANAGEMENT: Gathers and loads all required data in systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.


• CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Identifies and suggests process and system improvements to mitigate risks, reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.


• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualification:

• Good proficiency in Excel


• Openness to adopting and utilizing AI-driven solutions.


• Power BI knowledge (basic to intermediate level).


• Strong teamwork and collaboration.


• Excellent communication skills.


• Detail oriented.


• Ability to work under pressure.
