Middle Officer - Derivatives

Your team

Pictet Trading & Sales (PTS) provides direct access to global markets, offering bespoke trading solutions across a wide range of asset classes. Our teams of sales traders, IT specialists, strategists and quant analysts are assisted by a full suite of risk and control functions as well as the latest technology. 

At the core of PTS derivatives activity, as part of the Middle Office – Derivatives team, you will own the integrity and performance of ETD, OTC, and structured products operations. You will ensure trades and lifecycle events flow accurately and efficiently and solve complex operational problems. Beyond daily operations, you will help drive automation and redesign workflows to build a more scalable, resilient, and high-performing operating model.

Your role

• Own the day-to-day integrity of derivatives operations across ETD and OTC products, ensuring accurate booking follow-up and robust lifecycle management.


• Investigate and resolve booking, lifecycle, and reconciliation issues; identify root causes and contribute to permanent, scalable solutions.


• Act as a key operational partner to Trading Desks (Agency and Principal Trading), providing timely and reliable support on trade-related matters.


• Maintaining a high-quality service with internal entities as PTS, PWM, PAS, POI and Operations.


• Contribute to the automation, standardization, and optimization of operational workflows.

Your profile

• 3/5 years professional experience with ETD and OTC asset classes, including structured products.


• Excellent knowledge of ETD and OTC asset classes and good knowledge of banking industry.


• Ability to prioritize effectively and adapt in a fast-paced trading environment.


• Strong organizational and communication skills


• Comfortable operating under pressure in a dynamic trading-floor environment


• Proven interest in process improvement, automation, and leveraging data and AI-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and scalability


• Knowledge of Front Arena, Bloomberg, Avaloq or Lexifi is considered an asset.


• Fluent in English, a second language is a plus.


• Swiss residency or willing to relocate.
