MSAT Bioconjugates Cleaning Expert 80-100% (m/f/d)

The actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.

In the position of MSAT Bioconjugates cleaning expert, you will make a difference by being responsible for the cleaning of product contact equipment of BioConjugates processes running in Lonza’s facilities in Visp. You will take part in a close collaboration between the different MSAT functions, such as MSAT process experts and MSAT validation experts, as well as between the different departments such as manufacturing and quality assurance.

What you will do:

• Take responsibility as MSAT cleaning expert for both running production and new projects  

• Contribute to the achievements of the MSAT group by collaborating with MSAT process and MSAT validation experts 

• Lead cleaning related activities for the project team and collaborate with bioprocess engineers, plant supervisors, QA, and QC  

• Write, edit, and maintain cGMP instructions and working documents for cleaning processes  

• Represent the MSAT cleaning function during audits and inspections by regulatory authorities and customers 

• Lead and investigate cleaning related deviations 

What we are looking for:

• PhD in Biotechnology, chemical engineering, organic chemistry or related disciplines 

• Preferable industrial experience in cGMP biopharma manufacturing, with focus cleaning of product contact equipment 

• Attitude of seeking solutions, being adaptive to changes, and comfortable with taking decisions 

• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills  

• Proven ability to take initiative and work independently 

• A drive to work with continuous improvement  

• Proficiency in English is ; knowledge of German is considered an asset.
