[NDK] Product CAD Designer

As part of our continued growth, Nidecker Group is seeking a talented and motivated Snowboard Product CAD Designer to join our team. Based in Rolle, Switzerland, on the stunning French-Swiss Riviera near the Alps and Lake Geneva, Nidecker Group is home to some of the most respected brands in snowboarding: Nidecker, Jones and, #YES.

Tasks

• Collaborate with Brand and Product Line Managers across Nidecker, #YES., and, Jones to support the design and development of snowboard products.


• Lead the CAD design process from initial concept through to final 3D modelling, ensuring alignment with brand vision and technical requirements.


• Work in close partnership with team riders, sales teams, and marketing departments to integrate performance feedback and market insights into product designs.


• Create high-quality, innovative snowboard components and products that meet customer expectations and set new standards within the industry.


• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes, tools, and best practices within the product development team.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar—strong surface and complex modeling skills are essential.


• A solid foundation in materials, manufacturing processes, and product development workflows, with particular knowledge of plastic injection molding considered a plus.


• Hands-on experience in the full product lifecycle, from ideation and 2D/3D sketching to prototyping, production tech-packs, sample review, and final sign-off.


• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet frequent deadlines.


• A strong independent work ethic, balanced by the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-based development environment.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Adobe Illustrator is a definite advantage.


• A creative mindset and a passion for developing innovative product ideas or improving existing solutions.


• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 4–6 weeks per year) to collaborate with brand teams, factories and suppliers.


• A personal interest in snowboarding or outdoor sports, which helps align with the spirit of our brand and community.


• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written);


• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, product design, or a related technical field, or at least 2 years of relevant professional experience. Motivated junior profiles eager to grow within the role are also encouraged to apply.
