[NDK] Product Engineer - Bindings

Nidecker Group is seeking a passionate Product Engineer to join our Bindings R&D team, supporting the iconic snowboarding brands Jones, ThirtyTwo, and YES.

In this position, you'll play a key role in product development for our bindings category—from the initial concept and production-ready designs, all the way to the final product reaching the end consumer. Reporting to our Senior Product Engineers, you’ll work closely with brand managers, designers, engineers, athletes, and factory partners to ensure our products lead in performance, innovation, and quality.

Location: Rolle, CH

Travel rate: travel to our other entities and factories may be required time to time, but are not scheduled

Tasks

• Responsible for the development of assigned products from conception to production


• Review 3D CAD Designs and parts


• Maintain ongoing communication with factories regarding sample rounds and production status


• Create and maintain technical/production documentation


• Take ownership of Product Line and Lifecycle management


• Collaborate closely with the team in day-to-day idea generation and problem-solving to drive innovative product development


• Participate in quality control (QC) reviews and product inspections

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Product Design, or a related technical field


• 3+ years of experience in a similar position


• Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Catia, Pro/Engineer or similar)


• Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, with a focus on plastic injection molding


• Experience in sporting goods, preferably snowboarding equipment or outdoor hardgoods


• Proficiency in MS Office; basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator


• Fluent in English (spoken & written); French is an asset


• Excellent time management, highly organized and detail-oriented


• Creative thinker with a passion for product innovation and continuous improvement


• Able to manage multiple projects and work both independently and within a team
