Network Engineer

Solothurn Region | Hybrid | 80–100% | Permanent

Salary: CHF 100,000 – CHF 120,000 per annum

About the Opportunity

An exciting healthcare technology company is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join its infrastructure team.

You'll be responsible for the operation and continued development of business-critical network infrastructure, covering connectivity, WAN and core network services alongside network security technologies.

This is a hands-on position offering plenty of technical responsibility within a modern enterprise technology environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Build, operate and develop network infrastructure and associated security components


• Manage and maintain WAN connectivity


• Operate technical services including VPN, proxy, load balancing, DNS and DHCP


• Perform lifecycle management, patching and infrastructure optimisation


• Plan and execute backup, restore and disaster recovery activities for network components


• Participate in periodic on-call support

Your Profile

• Several years of professional experience in network engineering


• Strong experience planning, implementing and operating network infrastructure


• Good understanding of network security technologies


• Experience with WAN connectivity and enterprise networking


• Knowledge of VPN, proxy, load balancing, DNS and DHCP


• Huawei networking experience is advantageous


• Relevant IT education or professional qualification


• Independent, analytical and solution-oriented approach


• Good communication skills in German and English
