Delivering accurate payroll outcomes while relying on upstream data ownership by the Data Management team, requiring strong coordination and escalation. Supporting internal and external audits with complete, accurate, and traceable documentation. Process end\u2011to\u2011end monthly payroll for Switzerland and the Netherlands in compliance with local legislation and company policies. Ensure accurate calculation, processing, and payment of statutory deductions and employer contributions, including: Operate within a SOX\u2011controlled environment, ensuring compliance with internal controls and segregation of duties between Data Management and Payroll Processing. Coordinate with payroll vendor to execute payroll runs, off\u2011cycle payments, adjustments, special payments, and G/L postings. Prepare monthly payroll G/L reports, variance analyses, reconciliations, and provisions, and submit results to Finance/Accounting. Coordinate statutory filings, declarations, and payments with: Manage employee payroll impacts related to hiring, changes, leaves, transfers, and terminations in collaboration with HR Business Partners. Perform payroll validations, quality checks, and control activities before seeking managerial approval. Support year\u2011end activities, including annual wage statements, tax certificates, pension and social security reconciliations, and audits. Provide high\u2011quality customer service by resolving payroll inquiries accurately, professionally, and within defined service levels. Participate and contribute effectively in projects, initiatives, and ad hoc assignments to support team and business objectives. To comply with SOX requirements and internal control standards, this role operates under a segregated-duties model: Creation, maintenance, and approval of employee master data in HR systems (e.g., hires, job changes, compensation updates, terminations). Validation of data changes in line with authorization matrices and internal controls. Review and validate payroll-relevant data received from the Data Management team. Execute payroll calculations and processing based solely on approved and authorized data inputs. Perform controls, reconciliations, variance analyses, and compliance checks. Identify, document, and escalate data discrepancies, control gaps, or compliance risks. Maintain payroll documentation and audit evidence supporting control execution and payroll accuracy. This model ensures independence, accuracy, auditability, and regulatory compliance, strengthening the overall payroll governance framework. Minimum 3-5 years of payroll experience, with hands\u2011on exposure to Swiss and/or Dutch payroll (experience in both is strongly preferred). Strong working knowledge of: Fluency in English; German, French, and/or Dutch are strong advantages. Ability to manage multiple payroll cycles and statutory deadlines in a fast\u2011paced, regulated environment.
