Job Description - PLC Software Developer (m/f/d) (Automation, Mechanical Engineering, German)

Main tasks:

Creating PLC software for controlling machines.

Designing and analyzing machine processes, including the use of servo motors.

Implementing advanced control technologies in various facilities.

Developing applications for small series and specialized machines.

Establishing and maintaining standardized control technology processes.

Performing integration and system tests.

Preparing technical documentation and operating manuals.

Conducting technical training sessions.

Requirements

Completed vocational training in automation technology or a comparable qualification.

Further education in automation/electrical engineering at a higher technical school/university of applied sciences level or a degree in automation, electrical, or systems engineering.

Extensive professional experience in automation as well as in machine and plant engineering.

Excellent programming skills in Structured Text (IEC61131) or C, ideally with experience using B&R or Beckhoff controls.

Good language skills in German and English. (Compulsory)

Self-motivation and an innovative approach to work with efficient, independent problem-solving skills.

Team-oriented with the ability to quickly grasp complex issues.
