An international freight-forwarding company is looking for an experienced Procurement & Pricing Manager to lead its sea-freight procurement and pricing activities.
Develop pricing and procurement strategies by carrier and trade lane.
Negotiate competitive rates, capacity and conditions with shipping lines and partners.
Manage carrier relationships, tenders, spot quotations and strategic bids.
Monitor market rates, capacity, service reliability and margins.
Improve pricing tools, reporting and procurement processes.
Lead and develop the procurement and pricing team.
At least five years’ experience in sea-freight procurement, pricing or ocean-product management.
Strong freight-forwarding and carrier-management knowledge.
Proven negotiation skills and sound commercial judgement.
Advanced Excel skills; TMS, pricing or BI-system experience is advantageous.
Fluent English; other European languages are an advantage.
Analytical, pragmatic and comfortable in volatile markets.
This is a visible position with direct influence on commercial performance, margins and ocean-product development.
