For our client, an internationally active company in the high -tech and semiconductor industry based in the Zug region, we are exclusively looking for a committed and experienced professional for the position of Procurement Expert. In this varied role, you will ensure cost -effective, high -quality and timely material availability for development projects and series production, and contribute significantly to supplier performance and supply chain readiness.
Your Responsibilities & Tasks
Responsible for end -to -end material procurement for CIPs, CSRs and NPIs, including planning, ordering and prototype supply
Conduct RFQs, quotation analysis and cost benchmarking, and negotiate prices based on Total Cost of Ownership
Monitor supplier performance, manage escalations independently and support sourcing decisions including Supplier Selection Matrix documentation
Support product transfers, both supplier changes and the transition from development to series production
Work closely with R&D, Product Lines, Manufacturing, Finance and other SCM areas to ensure supply chain readiness
Contribute supplier expertise early in R&D projects and assess design feasibility for series production from a cost and supply chain perspective
Issue purchase orders and framework contracts, handle invoice deviations and maintain SCM master data in SAP S/4HANA
Reliably handle day -to -day operational purchasing tasks, from standard components to complex assemblies
Your Profile
Preferably a bachelor’s degree or, alternatively, equivalent basic and further education
Several years’ experience in project procurement or strategic procurement (at least 3–5 years)
Experience in the international high -tech or semiconductor industry is an advantage, as is experience in R&D (design or project management)
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics, and understanding of manufacturing technologies such as machining, sheet metal processing, additive manufacturing and surface treatments
Basic knowledge of mechatronic components such as motors, sensors, cables, gears and linear systems
Proficient in SAP S/4HANA and good Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
Fluent English, German or additional languages are an advantage
