Project Manager Events

Our client is MCI, one of the world’s leading event agencies, known for designing and delivering high impact live and digital experiences. In Zurich, its Corporate team partners with private sector companies on a wide variety of events, from international meetings and conferences to incentives and brand experiences around the world.

To strengthen this team, we are looking for a
PROJECT MANAGER EVENTS
100% (m/w/d)

the role.

• Manage your event projects across the full lifecycle, from the client brief, sourcing and planning to participant management, on-site delivery and post-event close-out


• Turn the brief into a clear operational plan, with timelines, task lists and project documentation that keep every phase on track


• Coordinate internal teams, venues and external partners, and act as the day-to-day operational contact for your clients


• Prepare and follow your project budgets, forecasts and reconciliations, and flag variances before they become issues


• Lead venue and supplier sourcing, quotations and negotiations, and support site inspections when required


• Contribute your operational expertise to proposals and client presentations, and take part in debriefs to keep improving how projects are delivered

what you bring.

• At least three years of hands-on project management experience in an event agency, delivering meetings and events for corporate clients; a background in hospitality or tourism is a plus


• A solid understanding of the end-to-end event lifecycle and practical experience with budgets, cost tracking and reconciliation


• The ability to juggle several workstreams and deadlines while staying accurate and composed


• A genuinely service-oriented and collaborative personality, constructive and solution-oriented when things get demanding


• Fluent German and English; French or another language is a plus, as is a good knowledge of international MICE destinations and venues
