Proposals Manager

ROLE

As a Proposal Manager, you will play a key role in supporting SICPA's growth by leading the preparation and submission of high-quality, compliant and competitive proposals for strategic opportunities worldwide.

Acting as the central coordination point between Sales, Legal, Finance, Solution Delivery and other internal and external stakeholders, you will manage the entire proposal lifecycle, ensuring timely execution, alignment of contributions and delivery excellence.

This role requires a strong understanding of complex tender environments, including government procurement processes, as well as the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the end-to-end proposal development process for RFIs, RFPs, EOIs, PPPs and other commercial opportunities.


• Analyze customer requirements and procurement specifications to ensure proposal strategies and deliverables address client expectations.


• Develop proposal plans with clear responsibilities, milestones and deadlines, ensuring effective execution throughout the process.


• Mobilize and coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration among Sales, Legal, Finance, Solution Delivery and other internal and external stakeholders.


• Monitor proposal progress, follow up on required inputs, proactively identify risks and escalate issues when necessary.


• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, internal governance standards and submission guidelines.


• Coordinate approval workflows, document legalization, proposal production and submission logistics.


• Guarantee the delivery of high-quality, accurate and compelling proposals within demanding timelines.


• Contribute to the continuous improvement of proposal management methodologies, tools and best practices.


• Handle sensitive business, commercial and contractual information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.

PROFILE

We are looking for a structured and collaborative professional with strong project management capabilities and experience operating in complex, international environments.

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field.


• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in proposal management, bid management or a comparable role.


• Proven experience managing complex and multidisciplinary projects.


• Solid understanding of government procurement processes and public tender environments.


• Experience supporting B2G opportunities; exposure to B2B environments is a strong asset.


• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and coordinate multiple contributors.


• Excellent planning, organizational and prioritization capabilities.


• Results-oriented, detail-focused and able to operate effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.


• High level of integrity, discretion and professional judgment.


• Fluent in English and French.


• Occasional international travel may be required.
