Regulatory Compliance Consultant (Financial Services)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the execution of Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and background screening procedures in alignment with banking regulatory requirements.

• Assist in investigations and projects related to economic and financial crime, including fraud, money laundering, embezzlement, and corruption, while contributing to the development and enhancement of internal compliance frameworks and policies.

• Conduct internal and client-focused regulatory audits within the banking sector to ensure adherence to applicable legal and regulatory standards.

• Analyse evolving regulatory requirements and provide actionable insights to ensure full compliance with Swiss financial regulations, directives, and best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in law, finance, or economics from a recognized institution (e.g. HEC, HEG, or equivalent).

• Solid experience in banking compliance, ideally acquired within a Swiss bank or a major consultancy firm serving financial institutions, or in regulatory/internal/external audit roles.

• Comprehensive understanding of Swiss banking regulations, particularly those related to AML (LBA), KYC, and financial crime prevention.

• Fluency in French and English; proficiency in German is an advantage.

• Strong commitment to client service and compliance excellence, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, high-pressure banking environment.

• Residency in Switzerland is required
