Domain Expert & Deputy CTO (80-100%)

You will: 

• Lead and oversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of our platform.
• Participate in strategic discussions and decision-making processes regarding our IT architecture to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends and contribute to our innovation roadmap to maintain our competitive edge.
• Collaborate with IT operations teams to optimize processes, enhance system reliability and ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
•  You are not afraid of adding to our code base.
• Conduct unit and integration tests to ensure software quality (Testing).
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and maintain comprehensive documentation (Documentation).
• Execute the full software development life cycle from analysis to deployment (Lifecycle Management).
• Apply software engineering principles to solve new and ongoing organizational challenges (Problem-Solving).

• Proven experience in software delivery and project management.
• Strong understanding of IT architecture and infrastructure.
• Ability to engage in high-level discussions about innovative technologies and IT operations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• You bring experience in .NET/C# development, are passionate about processes and software development and understand coding principles that apply across languages.
• You have hands on experience in design and implementation of software solutions.
• You are organised and have strong problem solving skills. You are attentive to details when it comes to documentation of your work.
• You have worked in agile development environments before and are a team-player who likes an independent way of working
• You are fluent in English (preferably also in German)
• You are open to work at least one day of the week in our offices in Zug
