Engineer for Med-Tech product development (Microcontroller, Heating systems, wearable devices)

• Develop a wearable heat pad system for hand, chest, and neck areas controlled by an Arduino or similar microcontroller.
  
  
• Design hygienic, fabric-free heat pads using silicone or alternative materials, inspired by heated sports equipment.
  
  
• Implement different heat profiles selectable via buttons or a small display.
  
  
• Integrate off-the-shelf replaceable battery packs for power supply.
  
  
• In the second phase, enable Arduino to communicate with VR glasses (Meta Quest 3) to synchronize video playback and heat profiles with a timer.
  
  
• Collaborate on initial technical concepts and prototype development for Bayer.
  

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
  
  
• Experience with microcontroller programming (Arduino or similar).
  
  
• Motivation in designing wearable electronics and heating elements.
  
  
• Familiarity with hygienic product design and materials preferred.
  
  
• Ability to develop user interfaces (buttons, displays) for embedded systems.
  
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
  
• Interest in health-tech applications and immersive experience technologies.
  
  
• Good communication skills in English.
