Job Description - Pre Sales & Field Application Engineer ISP CH (m/w/d)
Function as technical interface to Swiss Service Providers’ technical and product teams. Conduct technical workshops and regular technical meetings with customers.
Analyze ISP technical requirements, working closely with the R&D and product development teams to convey client feedback and insights, helping to refine and enhance product.
Creating and customizing comprehensive documentation for client support, e.g. portfolio, feature roadmap, product specification, product usecases, and best practices.
Project management: be able to lead the development project of CPE hardware and software customization for service providers and work closely with customer as project manager.
Providing on-site and remote technical support to telecom operator clients, focusing on our DSL & PON CPE, 5G CPE, Mesh networks and other networking devices.
Assisting in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of networking equipment, ensuring smooth deployment and operation.
Conducting product training sessions and providing technical advice to client teams, empowering them to effectively use and maintain our products.
Staying up-to-date with industry standards, emerging technologies, and competitive products to offer informed guidance to clients
Successfully completed university studies in electrical engineering, informatics or similar background
3+ years of work experience in a technical role within the telecommunications industry
Customer-oriented problem-solving skills, as well as the drive to deliver an excellent customer experience
Adaptability in cross-cultural and cross-language communication
Very good written and spoken English and German skills, additional French language skills are beneficial
Willingness to do business travel in Switzerland (ca. 30%), especially to Bern
