Site Quality Head 100% (m/w/d)
Your Opportunities:
Subject matter and/or personnel leadership of the Site Quality Switzerland with all departments and working groups subordinate to the organizational chart
Drives a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence, fostering cross-functional collaboration and talent development
Leads inspections and audit readiness and CAPA oversight, ensuring inspection preparedness and timely remediation
Supports the implementation and integration of digital quality systems (e.g., Helix), with a strong focus on data integrity and system validation
May serve as a Qualified Person (FvP) or deputy, in accordance with Swissmedic requirements
Collaborates closely with the Site Head Switzerland and reports functionally to the Head of Corporate Quality Assurance and Compliance
Champions cultural change and harmonization across legacy systems as part of Acino’s transformation journey
Leads risk-based decision-making across the site, ensuring proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation of quality and compliance risks
Demonstrates strong judgment in managing ambiguity and navigating “grey zones” in regulatory, operational, and cross-functional contexts
Implementation of local quality systems that comply with Acino standards and local regulations and all regulations of the respective countries in which the products are marketed
Preparation of the Site Quality Plan including review and approval of SOPs, PQRs, Site Master File
Optimization and simplification of processes in the area of Site Quality Switzerland and in the interfaces to the other areas of quality as well as to the corporate functions within Acino Group
Supervising and monitoring of the qualification/certification of suppliers, service providers and contract laboratories
Responsible for preparation and monitoring of the budget for the area of Site Quality Switzerland (cost centers, personnel, investments)
Review Board, Corporate Quality Review Board, Safety Board and other ad hoc meetings
Escalation of quality issues in accordance with applicable Acino quality directives
Approval or rejection of all procedures or specifications affecting the identity, strength, quality, and purity of the product
Creates and nurtures a high-performing, empowered quality team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence across all QA functions.
Who you are:
Education in pharmacy, natural sciences or equivalent
Strong understanding of the EU GMP regulations and several years of experience in the GMP regulated environment, preferably in Quality (QA, QC)
Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to connect and quickly create relationships with people at all levels of the organization
Digitally savvy, with experience in digital QMS platforms, data integrity principles, and system integration projects
Proven ability to manage risk and lead through uncertainty with sound judgment and strategic foresight
Very good skills in German and English (oral and written)
Clear view of priorities and cross-functional thinking
Decision-making skills and talent for dealing with complexity and ambiguity
Analytical and cross-functional way of thinking
