The Supply & Demand Planner is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain process, from demand planning to inventory management. This role is crucial in ensuring that customer demands are met without excess stock or stockouts, optimizing costs, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to customers. The Supply & Demand Planner will work cross-functionally with business development, program management, procurement, production, and warehouse teams to maintain a balance between supply and demand.Your responsibilities will include   

• Develop and implement supply plans to meet forecasted demand while minimizing inventory holding costs
• Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure availability of all materials 
• Optimize the inventory levels to maintain a balance between overstock and stockouts
• Monitor inventory levels regularly to ensure they align with forecasted demand
• Coordinate with warehouse team to manage stock movement and replenishment
• Implement best practices in inventory control to minimize waste, spoilage, and stockouts
• Work closely with PMs and production team to align on demand patterns, product launches, promotions, and any other factors impacting demand.
• Identify and implement improvements to demand and supply planning processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
• Utilize data analytics, demand planning tools, and ERP systems to improve forecasting and inventory management
• Identify potential risks in supply and demand imbalances and develop contingency plans
• Work with procurement and warehouse team to mitigate supply chain disruptions due to external factors
• Support monthly S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings to ensure alignment across departments
• Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance, inventory levels, demand forecasts, and operational KPIs
• Work closely with project customer teams to understand customer requirements and address any supply chain issues
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing planning and participate in cross-functional projects for supply chain optimization of the production planning and fulfillment processes

We are looking for someone with:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certification in Supply Chain (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, production planning, and/ or inventory management.
• Strong experience with demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory control.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) and demand planning software
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make decisions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across functions
• Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day operational tasks
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of lean inventory practices and continuous improvement methodologies
• Proficiency with advanced analytical tools and automative software i.e. Power BI and Power Automate is a plus
• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
