As a Technical Project Manager, you will lead critical SAP migration workstreams, ensuring successful execution from planning through delivery while coordinating business and technical stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a large-scale SAP RISE transformation program and drive meaningful operational change. You will work in a highly collaborative international environment, connecting technical experts and business teams to achieve shared objectives. Accountabilities
- Lead multiple SAP migration workstreams, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Manage SAP RISE transformation projects throughout the complete project lifecycle, from initial planning and coordination through execution and final delivery.
- Coordinate collaboration between technical teams, business stakeholders, and cross-functional project contributors across international locations.
- Facilitate technical discussions, understand proposed solutions, and support effective decision-making without requiring hands-on technical implementation.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, dependencies, challenges, and mitigation strategies.
- Track project progress, ensure timely completion of milestones, and provide clear status reporting to stakeholders.
- Drive execution excellence and maintain focus on achieving project goals and business outcomes.
- Support communication and alignment between teams located across Europe, including regular collaboration with technical and business hubs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, ideally managing large-scale SAP transformation or upgrade projects.
- Strong understanding of SAP upgrade projects and technical project delivery processes.
- Experience managing SAP-related database migration projects, particularly Oracle to SAP HANA migrations, is highly desirable.
- Previous experience with SAP RISE projects is a strong advantage.
- Ability to understand technical concepts, participate in technical discussions, and facilitate decisions between technical and business teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with experience working in international environments.
- Strong execution mindset with the ability to manage priorities, risks, and delivery objectives effectively.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- German language skills are beneficial but not mandatory.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly to project locations in Europe, including Gothenburg and Munich.
