Research Associate (2-Year Temporary Position, Basel)

The Position

This role is within Pharma Technical Development (PTD), which supports Roche’s R&D pipeline by designing, developing, and supplying clinical-stage parenteral drug products, including large biological molecules, small synthetic molecules, and gene therapy (AAV). The Pharmaceutical Development organization develops innovative and patient-centered parenteral drug products as well as drug product processes that fulfill commercial needs.

The Opportunity:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute hands-on laboratory studies related to drug product formulation and process development (Ph0 to Ph3).

• Coordinate Data Integrity Checks (DIC) to ensure proper documentation, adherence to ALCOA+ and FAIR data principles

• Execute experiments in the lab, identify support needs, prioritize tasks, and consider flexibility in execution.

• Plan timing, instrument use, analytical methods, materials, and sample logistics for studies, ensuring robust and timely sample flow and storage.

Who You are:

• Completed apprenticeship as a chemical/biological laboratory technician, CTA, or BTA or related field

• Proven knowledge and hands-on experience in laboratory

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Strong team collaboration skills
