Your Role
Maximizing Total Revenue: Optimizing revenue from rooms and events through effective inventory management, rate restrictions, and targeted use of distribution channels to increase market share.
Strategy Development & Implementation: Developing dynamic pricing and commercial strategies tailored to seasonal trends, market fluctuations, and the brand philosophy, as well as precise forecasting and support for the budgeting process.
Performance Analysis & Market Benchmarking: Analyzing revenue data (actual vs. target figures), monitoring market and competitor trends (RGI, ARI, MPI), and deriving concrete recommendations for action during future peak periods.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership: Close collaboration with Sales, Hotel Operations, and Group Sales; leading commercial strategy meetings and forecast reviews; and providing strategic advice to the leadership team.
System & Technology Management: Ensuring data quality in revenue management systems; conducting tactical tests; and maintaining stakeholder relationships through transparent communication and collaboration at all levels.
What You Bring to the Table
Professional Experience & Market Knowledge: Experience in revenue management, ideally in an international hotel setting (e.g., Marriott), as well as a deep understanding of market metrics and sales trends. Knowledge of the Zurich market is a plus.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of revenue management systems (preferably One Yield/Hotellistat), PMS systems (e.g., Opera/Opera Cloud/Apaleo), and channel managers.
Analytical Strength: Strong analytical skills, a structured approach to work, and the ability to translate complex data into strategic revenue recommendations.
Work Style & Communication: An independent, efficient, and solution-oriented approach to work in a dynamic environment, coupled with strong communication skills to lead commercial meetings and provide expert advice to internal stakeholders.
Team Spirit & Languages: A collaborative team player who demonstrates initiative, a sense of responsibility, and a passion for cross-departmental collaboration. Excellent written and spoken English skills are required; German or other languages are a plus.
