Scientist Primary Packaging & Raw Materials QC 80-100% (f/m/d)

This position is in the QC Primary Packaging & Raw Material Team, based in the Stücki Tech Park site in Basel, Switzerland.

What you will do:

• Perform and review incoming goods testing of primary packaging and raw materials under cGMP

• Define specifications and plan analytical testing for raw materials; author and approve QC documentation

• Implement and validate analytical methods; keep QC records accurate and current

• Execute raw material releases, for cGMP manufacturing and engineering runs, per procedures

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet project milestones and support production

• Serve as a subject matter expert and train colleagues in key analytical techniques

What we are looking for:

• Vocational Training as Laboratory Technician or related field with minimum 5-7 years of experience or B.S, M.S in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field, with 3-5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or closely related field, ideally in a comparable role

• Solid understanding and application of cGMP

• Hands‑on experience testing excipients and primary packaging components with relevant methods and instruments

• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills

• Proactive, organized, and detail‑oriented

• Effective collaborator with strong teamwork skills

• Proficiency in written and spoken English, German is a plus
