Security Analyst

The role  

As a Security Analyst at Zühlke you strengthen our clients’ defences by identifying, analysing, and responding to security incidents. You’ll work in an operational, client-facing role — detecting threats, investigating incidents like phishing or malware, and recommending improvements. Your focus will span proactive monitoring, threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and enhancing detection capabilities.

What’s important to us 

• You bring 2 years of experience as a Security Analyst or related fields (Security Engineering / Penetration Testing) 

• A completed university degree (university of applied sciences, ETH, or university) in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field 

• Strong technical background in areas such as threat hunting, vulnerability management, cyber security architecture, and risk assessment 

• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, cloud security, IAM, Zero Trust architectures, and relevant regulatory frameworks 

• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to clearly communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders 

• You enjoy working collaboratively, influencing decision-making, and supporting clients in strengthening their overall security posture 

• You're proactive, curious, and committed to continuous learning in the fast-evolving cybersecurity landscape. 

• Willingness to regularly perform on-call duty in a proven setup. We value flexibility and focus on a healthy work-life balance.  
   

• Strong communication skills, business‑fluent German is a must, proficient command of English
