Security Architect

The Security Architect is responsible for designing and implementing the overall security architecture and solutions for the organization. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security requirements, assess risks, and develop strategies to mitigate security threats.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the overall security architecture for the organization’s systems and networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security requirements and assess risks.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and processes.
• Conduct security assessments and audits.
• Provide guidance and support to security analysts and engineers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies.
• Lead incident response and handle security breaches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or MSc degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Security Architect or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
• Experience with security architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, SABSA).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CSSLP) are highly desired.
• Experience with secure coding practices and software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of network security principles and technologies.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business language for executive stakeholders.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Experience with cloud security architecture is a plus.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS)
